Prospectus is delighted to be working with Local Trust to recruit a Project Coordinator.

This role will be essential in supporting the organisation in delivering the promised funding to local areas across England by the 2026 deadline.

The position is being offered on an 18-month fixed term contract basis.

Local Trust was established in 2012 to deliver Big Local, a National Lottery Community Fund-funded programme which committed £1m each to 150 neighbourhoods across England.

The £217m originally provided by The National Lottery Community Fund to support this programme is the largest single-purpose Lottery-funded endowment ever made, and the biggest ever investment by a non-state funder in place-based resident-led change.

The purpose of the role will be to implement and monitor the delivery of support to Big Local areas, namely through the effective and efficient delivery of forums that enable connection both face-to-face and online.

This is fundamentally a logistics and event coordination role which will be very people driven.

It will entail bringing people together, arranging meetings, networking and learning events and building productive relationships with stakeholders and partners who deliver work on behalf of the Trust.

This person will also work closely with the communications team to ensure the network is aware of the support on offer to assist them in meeting the deadlines required for effective delivery of the programme by the 2026 deadline.
