Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and HSE regulations
Conduct regular fire safety and health and safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
Provide safety training and education to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training sessions
Collaborate with management to develop and revise emergency response plans
Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in workplace safety

Requirements:

Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Fire Nebosh
Proven experience as a Fire Safety Specialist in a similar role
Indepth knowledge of fire safety regulations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and delivering safety training
Security Clearance is essential and a conditional requirement for this role
Proficient in using computer software for record keeping and data analysis
