Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and HSE regulations
  • Conduct regular fire safety and health and safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
  • Provide safety training and education to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training sessions
  • Collaborate with management to develop and revise emergency response plans
  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in workplace safety

Requirements:


  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Fire Nebosh
  • Proven experience as a Fire Safety Specialist in a similar role
  • Indepth knowledge of fire safety regulations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and delivering safety training
  • Security Clearance is essential and a conditional requirement for this role
  • Proficient in using computer software for record keeping and data analysis

From £36,682.00 per year
