You will become part of the newly formed Management Office working within the small, friendly People and Capability team.

You'll have the opportunity to work closely with all areas of the organisation building strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders.

The role will support our organisation across a number of corporate tasks including recruitment, onboarding, finance and commercial, learning and development and risk assurance.

Your ability to be flexible, influence others and work collaboratively is key to your success and each day will present new and exciting elements to your role.


Person specification:


Responsibilities

  • Provide support to RSO Senior Leadership Team through diary and inbox management, travel arrangements, hosting visitors, arranging meetings and taking minutes
  • Work with hiring managers to manage the end to end recruitment process, ensuring all activity is quality checked and carried out in line with CS Recruitment Principles
  • Input and maintenance of workforce planning tool ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Provide accurate data on planned recruitment, new starters, leavers, temporary promotions, internal moves, secondments and changes to line management etc.
  • Support new joiners through RSO induction programme supporting on induction activities including facilitating face to face training or remote training via MS Teams
  • Support the finance and commercial manager and the risk manager by providing relevant administrative tasks, such as monitoring travel expenditure
  • Complete other adhoc administration tasks as and when required

Essential Skills

  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities, whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in an agile, collaborative and organised way

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of general FCDO HR guidance and practices.
  • Experience working in a busy recruitment environment
  • Experience and confidence presenting information to large groups
  • Experience of diary management and working with senior stakeholders
