Our Opportunity:
Thales UK in Belfast is looking for an experienced Fitting operator to join the team.
This position is within a team of personnel who are responsible for the manufacture, repair & refurbishment of associated ground equipment.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Must be able to work to drawings and production specifications to produce product requirements
- Produce assemblies and subassemblies against Production Test Specifications and recording of results.
- Experience in all fitting/assembly techniques required to successfully complete task to the quality standard specified
- Integrating and working in harmony with the established team so as to achieve targets.
- Become familiar with and adopting the principles of the 5's housekeeping standard.
- Participate in the Continuous Improvement activities that are ongoing within the work place with the goal of eliminating waste and reduce operating costs.
About You:
- You will have experience within a production environment or similar, with a City & Guilds or equivalent.
- You are an Experienced PC user.
- Quick learner
- Manual dexterity.
- Must be capable of working to Manufacturing Instruction and Engineering drawings.
