    Establishing a strong legal foundation is essential for the growth and success of Marks Sattin UK Ltd, a leading Fintech Payments Company specialising in Credit Cards & Payment Services. We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to be based in our London Office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • We require an expert in drafting, reviewing, amending and negotiating commercial contracts, including SAAS Agreements, Client Agreements, NDA's and Partnership Agreements.
    • The successful candidate will advise on regulatory challenges, liaise with the FCA to ensure compliance, and maintain a proactive approach to horizon scanning.
    • Experience in Corporate transactions, including Mergers & Acquisitions, is highly valued.
    • Litigation and Data Protection matters will also fall under their remit.
    • Collaboration with the wider legal team and other stakeholders is crucial.
    • Supervising junior members of the legal team will be an integral part of this role.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 5-10 years post-qualification experience as a qualified lawyer is required.
    • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, along with expertise in regulatory compliance (FCA), are essential.
    • Proven experience in supervising junior lawyers is necessary.
    • Prior experience working within an FCA Regulated Company is mandatory.
