Co. Antrim

Salary - Open to discussion + excellent benefits (Hybrid working, flexitime, company pension, 33 days holidays)

I am delighted to be working with a Global manufacturing business who due to continued success are seeking for an Category Buyer to join their successful team on a permanent full time basis

About you

  • At least 2 years' experience in a buying role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working within a busy procurement team within a global business you will

  • Ensure key relationships with internal customers are maintained
  • Report cost reductions at a global level on a regular basis
  • Daily organisation of purchase requisitions and deliver POs
  • Hold face to face meetings with suppliers to maintain accounts
  • Manage projects from start to finish
  • Manage all packaging requests and delivering samples to internal teams
  • Work with the Supply Chain Manager regarding maintaining of proper inventory levels of materials.
  • Maintain up to date supplier information to track status of orders and deliveries
  • Lead operational procurement for business support.
  • Other adhoc duties
