Our amazing #TeamGlebe in Cowdenbeath are on the lookout for an active individual who loves getting out and about to join them as a Support Practitioner on a part-time (16 hours per week basis).


The Role
You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team who provide support to two amazing gentlemen within their shared home.

Your main aim will be supporting their day to day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, shopping and medication.


As both men enjoy an active social life within the local community, we would be looking for you to be enthusiastic about participating and supporting them with their hobbies and interests including going out for meal, clothes shopping, discos, swimming, walks and going on the bus for day trips.


About you


You don't need experience as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills.

We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too

**What we need you to bring: - **- A caring attitude and approach

  • Good at communication skills
  • An understanding of the important of following guidelines and routines
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Confidence in the use of computers
  • The ability to cook
  • Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity

Shift Patterns


Our dedicated team provide 24/7 care tailored to the needs of the gentlemen they support, shifts fall within the hours of hours and will include sleepovers on a rotational basis.

Our sleepover shift would involve working hours the next day.

Our sleepovers do not form part of your contracted hours, you will receive an additional
£87 payment for each sleepover that you work
