About The Service
The Into Work Advice Service provides support to people across the city who are actively seeking employment or looking to upskill; the team is able to offer support and intensive mentoring through externally funded projects, volunteering opportunities and access to free digital and work skills training courses.
The Into Work Advice Service is made up of a number of different streams including, the Gateway (job club support), Adult Mentoring, Youth Mentoring, Volunteering, Employer Liaison and Work Placement, Adult Learning, Digital Skills, Essential Skills and Quality Support**About the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with proven coordination skills to join our Into Work Advice Service Team
The Engagement Coordinator will line manage a team of Community Inclusion Officers, Online Content Officer and Into Work Trainee (Social Media) within the Into Work Advice Service.
The postholder will have responsibility for submitting quarterly financial claims for externally funded projects, taking the lead for statistical submissions, monitoring against project targets and service improvement.
The postholder will liaise with local contacts, stakeholders and act as the main point of contact for referrals received.The postholder will be responsible for collating stats to share with the into work coordinator as part of the larger provision.
The postholder will work other internal partners to enhance service delivery for identified client groups.
The postholder will support the Into Work Coordinator (Gateway) with the attendance at regional Community Meetings and building links with grass root community groups.
What We Are Looking For From You
Extensive experience of supervising and managing others to include coaching and supporting.
To engage with public services including local communities to plan, implement and deliver coordinated partnership activities.
To create and maintain engagement partnerships and referral processes with grass root groups.
Experience of undertaking performance management and developing shared outcomes with partner organisations.
Experience of external funded programmes and returns.
You will have the ability to develop Into Work Advice Services Social Media platforms, the Into Work website and Webchat facility.
You will provide best practice examples and case studies to promote co production activities, which assist in the monitoring and evaluation of the delivery of wider Into Work Programmes.
Work closely with quality and performance team to ensure accuracy and compliance of data recording in line with funding requirements.
Additional information
This post is temporary until 31/03/2024.
The post will be required to work from a number of different locations, including Central Library Hub and other community Hub buildings.
