A senior role with a leading name in the insurance market, as Development Underwriter responsible for regional growth across your Manchester and North West broker panel.


You'll be working at strategic level, armed with senior underwriting authority, empowered to make commercial decisions and encouraged to seek out and win larger schemes, deals and rollover opportunities.


As Development Underwriter, you will:

  • Join a thriving business with huge growth plans a superb platform to trade, based on results and market perception.
  • Take on a well performing panel of brokers, armed with appetite and authority to grow further.
  • Underwrite an attractive suite of niche commercial lines products, including at account level.
  • Hold a senior role, and one that will challenge you, whether acting as referral point and mentor to colleagues, or problem solving for your brokers and clients.
  • Have real input to development and strategy in a collaborative team.
  • Be well rewarded, with a base salary of up to £65,000 plus market leading package.

You will:

  • Be an experienced, senior professional ready for a Development Underwriter position where you'll be able to impact real account growth.
  • Want a role at strategic level with key brokers, owning high level relationships and managing high value schemes and deals.
  • Enjoy a culture where you input is valued and you can really contribute to strategy, based on your experience and knowledge.
  • Based in or around Manchester and comfortable covering brokers around the North West.
