We have big plans for the next few years, and we need a skilled creative copywriter to help bring them to life.

Reporting into the Brand Creative Lead, you'll be crafting and upholding the brand TOV globally, and across all channels.


As part of our growing Brand Team, you will help voice and shape the next steps in our barefoot journey.

This is a creative role in which you will collaborate with and receive briefs from the Creative, Product, Marketing & Commercial Teams, as well as work all levels of the business, including directly with our founders.

The role will primarily work with the in-house brand and marketing team, writing beautifully constructed copy for a variety of needs across the business.


Vivobarefoot operates a flat organisational structure, meaning that all roles make an active contribution to how we show up, and an entrepreneurial spirit is encouraged.

The role presents an excellent opportunity for a hungry and creative individual who's passionate about pursuing a better way, and inspiring a world with more feeling, and less padding.


WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Leading and shaping the development of our brand TOV and creative expression.
  • Generating original & on brand copy that grabs the attention of our target audience and the world at large.
  • Marketing campaign copy conceptualisation and delivery for flagship initiatives and marketing campaigns across footwear, health, and activism.
  • Web copy including product copy, homepage, landing pages for projects and brand information.
  • Editorial blog posts covering topics from barefoot education, product and campaign writeups to a detailed piece on biomechanics.
  • Social copy written, commissioned, and/or copy checked.
  • Providing creative & copy support for our social media team.
  • Press releases across product innovation, collaborations, events, and new collections.
  • Seasonal POS, Packaging, Leaflets, Product booklets.
  • Supporting Ecommerce team as needed with translations service for web copy.
  • Incorporating SEO recommendations into content development.
  • Ad hoc copy requests
  • Active participation in brainstorming, as well as eagerness to pitch own ideas and concepts.
  • Commissioning & managing freelancer copywriters where necessary.
  • Ensuring workflow is managed and prioritised, so deadlines and expectations are met.

Impact in role - develop Vivobarefoot's copy and tone to deliver best-in-class storytelling, inspiring action and delivering meaningful messages with impact

Impact on regions - understand Vivobarefoot's regional nuances and work with central and local markets to deliver copy optimised by market, and with consideration of local culture and legal requirements

Impact on the team - set an example for efficiency and effectiveness, and take pride in and ownership and impact of all output


WHAT WE'D LOVE TO SEE FROM YOU

  • Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, either inhouse or agency.
  • Journalistic experience would be beneficial and showcase of writing short and long form copy.
  • Strong proficiency in the craft of writing be skilled in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy with a strong eye for detail.
  • Consistent conceptual thinking be highly creative and imaginative, and curious about our & competitors' products and services.
  • Passion for Natural health is essential.
  • Ability to take projects from the initial concept stages through to completion.
  • Work well in a team have excellent communication and interpersonal skill
