Finance Assistant - Godalming, United Kingdom - Barclay Meade
Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all supplier invoices are processed and paid accurately in line with agreed time frames
- Managing bank accounts and the daytoday cash flow
- Supporting the team in various tasks for the preparation of month end accounts.
- Setting up and manage company expense control and procedures.
- Assisting with customer queries and processing refunds
- Supporting the finance team in managing peaks of activity throughout the month.
- Enhancing, innovating, and improving existing processes and controls.
- Working alongside the team on a variety of projects.
- Other adhoc tasks and support as required.
The individual:
- Experience in finance operations is essential
- Exceptionally strong Excel skills
- Positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- Experience with working in an insurance environment (Desired but not essential)
- Selfmotivated individual
- Good communication skills
- Experience using Xero software (Desired but not essential)
