About the role
Please note this role is UK based, and we are unable to sponsor visas at this time.


We make both the Pinter and Pinter Packs (refill packs) that allow people to brew Fresh Beer in their homes.

You'll help us continue to grow by working closely with the COO to ensure that our supply chains run smoothly and efficiently.


Your main activities will be:

Supply and Demand core activities (60%):

  • Lead the collaborative S&OP process with the commercial, marketing and finance teams to generate supply plans based on wider company objectives, fostering a proactive approach to gather insights and identify trends to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Effectively communicating supply risks and their impact (highlighting potential sales and financial risks resulting from supply and inventory constraints) throughout the organisation, ensuring that relevant stakeholders are wellinformed
  • Work actively on demand forecasting and inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels, minimise stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
  • Design and implement inventory strategy for finished goods based on trends, sales forecast, and ABC analysis
  • Design and implement inventory strategy for raw materials and components based on sales forecast, lead times, and cost.
  • Regularly measuring and reporting the accuracy of the longterm demand plan to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the resolution of exceptions related to forecast accuracy and inventory issues, using root cause analysis to deliver sustainable improvements

Supplier management (20%):

  • Nurturing strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure the timely delivery of highquality raw materials and finished goods materials and services while optimising costs.
  • Monitoring the performance of existing thirdparty suppliers/manufacturers, identifying areas of risk, and implementing improvement projects.
  • Onboard new suppliers to ensure a bestinclass supply chain.
  • Developing and improving processes with the Head of Quality to ensure an ethical and compliant supply chain.

New projects (10%):

  • Identifying opportunities to reduce the company's environmental impact and drive sustainability initiatives.
  • Developing a comprehensive international supply chain plan to support the expansion of the business into multiple international markets.

People (10%):

  • Develop a highperforming supply chain team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to achieve departmental objectives
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be comfortable:

  • Working in a dynamic environment
  • Leading projects with multidisciplinary teams, and taking ownership of projects/improvements right through to the end result
  • Communicating information to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

What about you?

  • Experience working in a demand and supply planning role
  • Experience as a team leader/manager
  • Experience in supplier pricing negotiations
  • Experience in a highgrowth company/startup or desire to work in a startup
  • Experience in FMCG
  • Worked in supply with eCommerce and retail channels
  • Experience with implementing new supply planning tools/software

This person would also be:

  • Highly analytical and comfortable managing and summarising large amounts of data
  • Excel proficient
  • Selfstarter who can anticipate others' needs
  • Capable to multitask and prioritise daily tasks appropriately to meet strict deadlines.
  • Methodical, accurate and extremely organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident, independent problemsolving.
