My client within the Manufacturing industry are seeking a Stock/ Distribution Supervisor to join their team.

The Distribution Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager and shall be responsible for the daily management of goods inwards, assisting with loan equipment, archiving and checking of orders where necessary.

Also providing support to the team where necessary and applicable.

The job functions

Responsibility to ensure existing stock shall be stored behind the new stock wherever possible. Stock which has been in the warehouse for the longest time shall be used first (first in, first out)
Assisting the Operations manager to coordinate the formal annual stock take, where warehouse stock shall reconcile with the Oracle system
The Distribution Supervisor will assist in the goods receiving process
Assist with the physical side of goods inwards and outwards
Adhoc administration and filing
Ensuring Manufacturers lot numbers and expiry dates are logged appropriately as per the company Quality management system
Report any damage or missing items of the loan equipment returned to the Operations Manager
Forklift truck operator/maintenance
Undertake the roles and responsibilities of the Operations Manager in his absence or on request
Ensuring all CASE /Consignment equipment received is processed fully on a daily basis and KPI's are me
Ensuring monthly cycle counts are carried out and report provided to the finance department

Requirements:

Management and planning skills
A can do attitude and motivator
Familiar with PC in a business environment
MS Office Suite
