Job description:

Learning and development for those starting police officer careers is a critical area of our work.

The College is committed to ensuring entry routes into police constable roles equip new officers with the skills and knowledge that they need to fight crime and keep the public safe, as well as prepare them for the wider challenges of 21st century policing.

College staff are currently working at pace, with partners, to develop a new entry route into police constable roles. This work is alongside a comprehensive programme to enhance existing routes into the service.

We have a range of secondment opportunities to support this important and exciting work, including for those with experience of quality assuring police constable entry route programmes.


You'll be supported by the College Implementation and Quality Assurance team, but we need individuals who can hit the ground running and pick up what needs to be done at pace.


Person specification:

You should have experience and evidence of working successfully with stakeholders to develop and implement new strategies and processes.


You should also have a thorough understanding of the existing PEQF entry route programmes, along with a passion for equipping officers with the skills and knowledge to perform in the role.
