St Ives Bakery is family run business with a great team that work hard both behind the scenes and FOH

We are opening a new style outlet and we want this new venture to be the very best so we are looking for an experience Barista to be an integral part of this journey.

Understanding brewing and extraction nuances to refined latte art patterns.
Equipment care to workflow strategies
Understanding of varieties, origins, processing methods & flavours
Developing and maintaining their expert knowledge of coffee and educating clients and colleagues about these coffees
Operate all aspects of the register, including cash and card transactions, scanners, and scales
Maintain an accurate cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift
Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar and placing new orders
Following recipes and presentations for food as well as the beverage items, if needed
Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance
Comfortable working in a busy environment as well as its quite times
Liaise with coffee roasters and management to ensure the smooth running of operations and delivery of quality products.

Hours: 40 hours a week. 8 hour shift / flexible starts.

Salary:
£11 to £12 per hour depending on experience
