Job role:

The role involves supporting students with Social, emotional & behavioural difficulties and physical needs primarily pupils on the Autistic spectrum.

This is a role of working within primary education and could be as a teaching assistant, 1:1 or 2:1 basis.

Responsibilities:

Providing oneonone and small group support to students with SEN/physical needs
Assisting teachers in the delivery of lessons and collecting materials as needed
Supporting students with physical and personal care, as required
Monitoring and recording student progress and conferring this to teachers and parents
Attending team meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

Recent Graduate
Someone who is extremely passionate about working with pupils with special needs
Experience working with students with SEN, either in a paid or voluntary capacity
Excellent communication and relationship skills
A patient and supportive approach
Great location easily commutable from all over London
