Finance Officer

Cardiff Gate

Salary - £23,319 - £25,000 per annum (DOE)

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (30 min lunch)

Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Essential

Previous purchase ledger experience
Previous sales ledger experience
Experience in a similar role.
Good customer service skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Responsibilities

Purchase ledger
Process invoices
Payment runs for approval
Processing and reconciling credit card statements
Processing weekly payments for learners on their payroll system
Responding to client queries
Supporting with credit control
Providing administrative support to finance team
Keeping close watch on debtor account balances
Reducing debtors' 'Days Sales Outstanding'
Liaising with stakeholders to ensure cash is collected and warn them of potential credit risk
Allocating cash book receipts
Provide learners, customers and colleagues with support, advice guidance as part of your everyday role
Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours
Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company
Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies and be vigilant to potential concerns and risks at all times
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
