Housekeeping Supervisor

UE03 £20,400 - £21, % Premium Band

Accommodation, Catering and Events; Business Development and Occupancy

Full Time - 35 hours per week

Open ended contract


We are looking for a talented individual who has fantastic attention to detail; great interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities with a housekeeping background in a hospitality setting.


The Opportunity:


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate individual to join the hotel team part of the University of Edinburgh Hospitality and Events collection.

In this challenging and varied role, you will supervise a team of housekeepers on their day-to day tasks; carry out room checks and ensure our highest cleaning standards are achieved.

This post will present an opportunity to join us at an exciting time following a period of extensive refurbishment.


We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor who is passionate about providing impeccable cleanliness standards; enjoys working with people and is driven to achieve results.


In this role you will:

  • Regularly carry out bedroom and public area inspections to ensure a high quality service in all hotels
  • Supervise a team of up to 40 housekeepers
  • Ensure that all Health & safety requirements are met to ensure a safe environment is provided and all our legal obligations met
  • Report faults and maintenance issue to ensure we maximise our bedroom availability
