Contract Scotland has an immediate opportunity for a Bid Writer / Coordinator to join our client at their office in Cumbernauld.

This is a full time permanent position offering a competitive salary and the chance to develop your skills within the construction sector.

This is an office based role.


You will be responsible for the development and management of bids / tenders and will also undertake related marketing tasks.

It is a varied position where your duties will include:


  • Carrying out prequalification questionnaires / submissions
  • Ensuring all documents produced are visually strong and meet brand requirements
  • Managing all social media accounts including content development
  • Monitoring success of social media campaigns and advising of best utilisation going forward
  • You must be a selfmotivated and organised individual, with the ability to work off your own initiative
In addition, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Proficient across the MS Office suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be required to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Have previous experience in a similar role and have a thorough understanding of scoring methodologies and client requirements to satisfy PQQ and IT scoring criteria


This role would suit someone from a Bid background looking for their next opportunity or graduate looking to progress in their next role.

Exeperience of working in the construction industry would be beneficial, but not essential.
