Just Life Sciences are seeking an Operations Manager who has worked ideally with the Pharma sector.

Your duties

To manage, lead and develop the activities of the Project Specialists, Label

Production Team, Production Team and Production scheduling.

  • Oversee the Production Planner to ensure sufficient time for release and despatch
of supplies in accordance with Client expectations.

  • Focus on managing the resources within the team innovatively and effectively,
providing training and development opportunities to the team, handling quality

issues and supporting the delivery of the overall KPI's.

  • Manage/coordinate the FastTrack service requirements including Project
Specialist, Operations and Quality roles to provide the necessary information to

prepare operational documentation to the required standards and timelines to

deliver the project.

  • Work closely with Project Management to review clinical forecast and support the
business by identifying resource requirements.

  • Support Client audits and visits as SME when required.
  • Represent Clinical Operations in crossfunctional initiatives at a management level.
  • Stay abreast of GMP and other regulatory requirements and ensure study supply
activities are aligned.

  • Communicate operational performance to Senior Management monthly including
Production schedule Conformance to Build Plan.

  • Work closely with all departments to ensure effective and efficient processes are adopted, developed and maintained.
  • Identify, support, coach, motivate and help develop the skills of the individual
members of staff ensuring training compliance for new and current staff.

  • Identify and support process and continuous improvements and objectives
  • Ensure quality events are investiagted and actioned within agreed times and fully indentified root cuases and robust corrective actions.

Skills/Experience

  • Experience within a pharma/healthcare company
  • Clinical supplies experience is preferable
  • People management experience
  • Experience of working with internal and external clients.
  • Working with GMP documentation.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
