Right at Home Dundee, Angus and North Fife

Hourly Rate:
from £13.00 p.h. (Weekend and Bank Holiday Premiums)

Hours per week:
between 20 and 28 hours per week depending on availability

You ideally already have the skills and knowledge you need to make a great Care Assistant, but we can offer you the training to enhance and perfect your skills, to enable you to take the next step in your career.

Duties will include:


  • Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
  • Personal care
  • Administering medication
  • Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation

Requirements of a Care Assistant:


  • Have a genuine passion to want to help others
  • Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
  • Be available for evenings and alternate weekends
  • Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle as the post involves traveling to and from client homes across the area.
  • Current registration with the Scottish Social Services council is also desirable although this can be done when onboarding with us for employment
  • Applicants must be members or willing to become members of the Disclosure Scotland Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme (PVG) prior to commencing in post.
Right at Home Dundee, Angus and North Fife currently covers the following areas: Dundee City, Broughty Ferry, Monifieth, Carnoustie, Arbroath, Inchture, Longforgan, Invergowrie, Wormit, Newport on Tay and Tayport
