Hanivilla Care, a reputable provider of care services, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Children's Support Workers to join our caring team in Bradford.
As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to children and young people, helping them to lead fulfilling lives in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a warm and supportive environment for children and young people in our care.
- Support children with their daily living activities, including personal care, mealtime assistance, and recreational activities.
- Engage with children in a positive and empathetic manner, promoting their emotional wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans.
- Record and report any changes in the children's behavior or health to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all children, adhering to safeguarding procedures.
- Foster positive relationships with children, their families, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience working with children and young people in a care or support capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- DBS check clearance.
