Trainee Claims Handler, Bristol


Resolve Recruitment are working with an innovative and highly successful legal insurance organisation working in partnership with brokers, insurers, and solicitors.

Due to continued growth, they seek now several passionate, customer service and administration people to join their Claims team as Trainee Claims Handlers.


The role;

  • Helping policy holders with their claims and working with external business partners to see the claim through to its end
  • Providing excellent customer service whilst processing lowlevel claims and providing support for senior colleagues across the team
  • Manage a caseload of mainly Motor & PI claims but may assist with other types of claims as part of their ongoing personal growth and development
  • Speak directly to the policy holder and their brokers/insurers, playing an important role in not only processing the claim, but also managing the relationship and the customer's experience
  • Work as part of a larger team to ensure claims are effectively managed from start to finish

The person;
Essential

  • Good level of education (min. 5 GCSE Grade C+) upwards
  • Ideally 6+ months of relevant experience
  • Good numeracy & literacy skills
  • Confident communication skills on the telephone and when communicating in writing
  • A desire to learn and develop your own skills
Desirable

  • Graduate or equivalent
  • Some office work experience would be desirable, particularly if within the insurance industry
  • A genuine interest for insurance would be advantageous, as would a passion for customer service
