Job Description:


  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Operator to join our Post Synthesis Team to focus on the production of our synthetic diamond materials through chemical vapour deposition (CVD) at our Ascot site.


You'll need to be available to work
12-hour shifts across a '
4 on, 4 off' rotating days based shift pattern.


Reporting into the Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of our equipment whilst working in a busy and agile environment, keeping safety a priority at all times


We are seeking an Operator who can work in a methodical manner, following established procedures with a right first-time approach and has strong attention to detail.


Duties will include;

  • Setup and operation of equipment inline with standard operating procedures.
  • Incoming quality control of raw materials and inline quality control throughout, ability to work with small tools, working to tight tolerances, small pieces and undertake volume manufacturing.
  • Undertaking work in the following areas: Processing (Lapping, Polishing), Laser, Chemical Room, and Supply Chain as well any other adhoc requirements as requested
  • Provide updates to safe working procedures for continuous improvement of our processes

Qualifications:


  • The role will require you to work both independently and have the flexibility to support other team members where required.
You'll have the confidence to challenge how we currently do things and implement improvement actions in a controlled way.


Experience in a hands-on technical role is desirable but full training will be provided with opportunities for ongoing upskilling and development.
