Grafton Banks Finance are supporting a well-established client, based in the outskirts of Brighton. Our client seeks a Finance Business Partner on a permanent, part-time (3 days per week, 22.5 hours) basis. This is an varied role, supporting the Financial Accountant with a range of duties within a dynamic team.

Duties will include:

Preparation of the group financial statements and financial reporting across the subsidiaries.
Supporting Financial Accountant with preparation of annual financial returns
Support with external audit
Providing support across the finance team in developing policies and procedures
Liaising with stakeholders and external auditors

This role is well-suited to a ACCA/CIMA studier (or stop studier/QBE) who has an interest in working alongside a chartered accountant.

A background in accountancy practice *or* have exposure to preparing subsidiary accounts
Interest in working parttime hours, 3 days/ 22.5 hours per week
ACCA/CIMA studier *or* stop studier/qualified by experience
Strong Excel skills and exposure to a range of accounting systems
Sound financial reporting technical knowledge
