We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Senior Leadership Team as a Head of Office/Vice President in our Perth branch, responsible for leading the team, with specific accountability for delivering business growth, client retention, new business and operational excellence.
This is the perfect role for a high performer with ambitions to progress into a senior leadership role.
This position is located in our Perth office however; the successful individual will have the opportunity to split their working week between the office and remote working.

What you will be rewarded with?

We will count on you to:
- Contribute to top level decision making in terms of performance and development of the specialism/product line sales strategy, leveraging extensive industry experience and advanced knowledge and experience with products and solutions to drive growth, sales yields, and market engagement
- Be responsible for the creation of a succession plan for the branch
- Work as part of the regional management team, along with HR, to attract and retain talent and have a clear strategy for colleague retention in the branch
- Develop and maintain own book of business as well as oversight of accounts managed by the Account Executive team
- Work collaboratively with other VPs and the Regional Sales Leader, as directed by the SVP, to ensure client retention and sales targets are achieved through effective use of the consultative selling approach including bestpractices for sales efforts and initiatives, product and solution insights and negotiation tactics
What you need to have:
- Significant general insurance industry experience including a senior sales/client service leadership position
- A thirst for team leadership
- KPI driven with a proven track record of achieving targets through sound collaborative management
- Strong people management skills including coaching and mentoring experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to influence and direct teams
- Stakeholder management skills up to and including senior executive level
