The main responsibility of the Project Support Officer role is to provide comprehensive support for the development of support of less than full time/ flexible training and the quality of medical education and training at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH).
The post holder will share their time equally across these two main areas of project delivery.Less than Full Time (LTFT)/ Flexible Training
Working closely with the Champion of Flexible Training and the LTFT Fellow, the post holder will lead and support a number of projects to help NUH better support less than full time flexible training.
Provide comprehensive, high quality project support to assist in the planning and delivery of agreed projects and work streams relating to less than full time training and the quality of education and training at Nottingham University Hospitals.
Deliver project support to the Champion of Flexible Training, LTFT Fellow and Quality Manager and complete individual work on elements of larger projects as required.
Ensure project information is managed and updated to the highest level of quality and accuracy. This will include the preparation of documents, reports, presentations, action logs and other project information.
Take a central role in communication of information reading LTFT training and quality and governance projects, programmes and activities to a range of audiences, including maintaining and updating information displayed on the PMED website and Trust intranet pages.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of LTFT and quality and governance work streams.
Work with the Champion of Flexible Training and Less than Full Time Fellow to develop a clear understanding of opportunities for education and training whilst in LTFT posts at NUH.
Work with the Less than Full Time Fellow to understand the demographics of our LTFT postgraduate doctors in training to support with forecasting.

You will have strong project management skills, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on new projects and work streams focused on the delivery of high quality and flexible education and training.
The role will be based at the Education Centres at Nottingham City Hospital and Queen's Medical centre and will work across both sites.
