We have an opportunity to join our Warehouse team as a Senior Warehouse Operative.

As Senior Warehouse Operative you'll enjoy being a critical part of the team and work flexibly across a variety of activities with the primary focus of contributing towards the smooth running of the warehouse.

Position:

As Senior Warehouse Operative you'll 'roll your sleeves up and get stuck in' wherever you're needed carrying out a variety of different tasks including:
Assist and provide cover for the Warehouse Supervisor in their absence.

Ensure that the required KPI are achieved and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Be a point of contact during the shift, to consult with other departments.

Pick, check & pack orders ready for dispatch/production

Ensure that the warehouse in excellent operational order.

Practice good housekeeping to maintain the quality of materials and a safe working environment;

Requirements:

As Senior Warehouse Operative you'll be working in a busy and varied role and we'll make sure you'll receive all the necessary training to be successful in your role.

Experience of working as a Senior Warehouse Operative is a bonus but, as a minimum we're looking for you to demonstrate your:

Ability to follow standard operation instructions.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - you'll need to match drawings to extrude profiles.

Ability to build, maintain effective working partnerships with colleagues - we're a team and better when we work together

Self‐motivated proactive approach to work that is able to demonstrate initiative.

This role does involves physical movement including lifting, bending, twisting and carrying with loads of up to 20kg as a core part of the role.

40 hours per week between / rotating shift pattern.

Salary - up to £26,431
