Overview
This growing international manufacturing organisation are looking for an experienced or part qualified Cost Accountant to join their team. This role will be initially office based with the possibility for hybrid working post completion of probation.
Cost Accountant - About the Role
Your key responsibilities will be:
- To assess fixed and variable costs to determine the company's total cost of manufacturing a product.
- Updating the standard costs of products and services based on the associated expenses.
- Establishing the standard costs of services or products.
- Analysing company data and assessing rates of labour and overhead to recommend policy amendments.
- Preparing monthly or quarterly reports for senior management based on inventory analyses.
- Submitting accounting reports to management every month or quarter.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
The successful Cost Accountant will have
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Experience within the manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical skills
