We are currently looking for Team Manager to support and deputise for the Head of Nursing, to lead and develop teams providing nursing recruitment services for both shift and long-term bookings and fulfil contract requirements.

Salary:
£30-40k per annum


Bonus:
Personal commission structure up to 20% plus share of team profits

- and long-term contracts throughout the UK utilising a global pipeline.


Key Results Area


To effectively manage, co-ordinate and take overall responsibility for the desk/division and associated staff ensuring agreed targets and revenue margins are exceeded.


Lead, inspire, support, train and develop associated staff to achieve individual and desk/divisional success in alignment with Company strategy, vision, values and culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leading on billings and recruitment for the region/territory
  • Training and development of the team, including the outsourced team and onshore team
  • Assist in rate card negotiations
  • Ensure accurate pay and bill processes are adhered to by all team members
  • Drive sales activity on a daily basis and ensure agreed revenue targets, gross margin and client/Framework service standards are achieved/exceeded
  • Devise new and inspiring solutions to add value and maximise team impact and success
  • Implement relevant processes to build desk/divisional efficiencies and success
  • Day to day management of staff within your team, including performance management and sickness absence management
  • Ensure each team member understands their role, business expectations and achieves Minimum Standards of Performance (MSOP)/KPIs
  • Undertake regular reviews with your staff to provide feedback, identify current obstacles encountered, any training needs, support their development and progression and guide activities, provide creative solutions to ensure individual success
  • Motivate, lead, inspire, coach, mentor staff within the desk/division, provide knowledge, expertise and clarity and resolve problems and conflict as required
  • Act as a role model employee and recruiter promoting excellence, company policy and procedures at all times
  • Plan, coordinate, manage and report on the progress of the desk/division including business forecasting, the collation of business plans and management information as requested by the Directors
  • Ensure team compliance with all statutory, contractual, commercial, legal, financial, data protection, GDPR, safeguarding and Framework requirements
  • Conduct regular process internal audits/reviews to ensure all operational procedures are robust, effective, efficient and compliant

Experience

  • Proven nursing recruitment experience (minimum 3 years)
  • Prior management experience of a small team or as a team leader
  • Leading a sales or recruitment team
  • Driving new business and increasing sales
  • Working in a customer driven service environment
  • Competent user of IT, including Microsoft outlook, word and excel
