Are you a Maintenance Technician? Have you got experience repairing and maintaining a range of manufacturing equipment? If so, our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer for the Aerospace sector. The client is looking for an experiencedmaintenance technician, with electrical and mechanical knowledge, who will be able to repair and maintain manufacturing related equipment on site whilst ensuring standards and specifications are adhered to.

Maintenance Technician

  • Carry out maintenance service and repairs on a range of manufacturing equipment, including pressers, boilers, compressors.
  • Confidently complete planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and provide required reports.
  • Ensure all procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies are adhered to whilst working.

Troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, replaces, and maintains existing mechanical systems and associated equipment, including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, etc.


  • Interpret documents, schematics, and blueprints to carry out maintenance tasks.
  • Educate and train equipment operators to perform routine maintenance for new equipment.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and use appropriate protective and safety equipment.

Maintenance Technician

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:


  • Previous experience within a similar Maintenance role
  • Previous experience working in the manufacturing industry.
  • Handson experience with steam, pipe, press, changing of seals, rams, forklift, boiler activation.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical components and equipment.
  • Good problemsolving skills and able to recognise any issues.
  • Experience in operating forklifts and other powered equipment.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and able to adapt to changes in work requirements.
