Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute winning bid & pursuit strategies:
  • Formulate comprehensive bid strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Take client requirements and tailor bids to address specific needs.
  • Understand industryspecific challenges and tailor bids accordingly.
  • Manage bid teams for proposals:
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to bid teams.
  • Oversee bid preparation, ensuring highquality and timely proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for bid preparation:
  • Engage cross-functional teams for relevant insights.
  • Foster effective communication and coordination to ensure streamlined production of bids.
  • Foster relationships with external partners and subcontractors:
  • Cultivate strong partnerships for enhanced capabilities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential bid risks and ensure compliance:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure bid activities comply with legal and company policies.
  • Navigate the regulatory landscape and compliance requirements relevant to bid submissions.
  • Efficiently allocate resources and mentor team members:
  • Optimize resource allocation across bid projects.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development.
  • Build and manage a highperforming bid team, including geographically dispersed members.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitors' activities:
  • Monitor market trends and client needs.
  • Look in to competitors' strategies and bidding approaches.
  • Analyse bid performance and contribute to decisionmaking:
  • Track bid success rates and outcomes.
  • Present bid progress reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of innovation e

  • Proactively improve bid processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, critical and creative thinking.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in bid management or a similar role within a commercial team.
  • Track record of successfully managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of UK public sector bids.
  • Show have you've operated in a consultancy, IT services, technology solutions or managed service environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Previous management experience, promoting a positive culture and motivating teams.
