We have an exciting opportunity and are looking for a Junior Creative Artworker to join our MedComms Creative Team on a 6-month temporary contract, with the potential for permanent.


Role Summary


The Junior Creative Artworker will support with the creation of accurate artwork, both for print and digital, for leading healthcare and pharma companies.

They will have high attention to detail and will be efficient in both Adobe and Microsoft; with a strong focus on Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop and preferably some PowerPoint (however, not essential).


They will work on a wide range of artwork projects with support from senior members of the team and have good knowledge of graphic design, typography and layout capabilities.


Position within the agency


The Junior Creative Artworker will report to the Artwork Lead and will be positioned within the Creative team working closely with fellow creatives and our medical communications colleagues.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Ensure projects are delivered to a consistently high standard, on time and within budget
  • Making amends to artwork and presentations in a timely manner
  • Development of highly accurate and highly creative artwork, including scientific and data driven information for both digital and print
  • Adhere to our processes to ensure we are as efficient as possible
  • Build excellent relationships with our account teams to ensure that we develop a one team approach

Requirements:


  • Experience; Design qualification or relevant experience
  • Expertise; have in depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus on Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
  • Accurate; an eye for detail
  • Innovative; be interested in new and alternative Artwork techniques and tools
  • Solution focused; be able to easily adapt to the facedpaced nature of client requirements
  • Strong communication skills; ability to take an effective brief and understand requirements. The role will require regular contact with colleagues, and we must ensure we are adaptable, approachable and helpful at all times
  • Team focused; lead by example, ensure the wider team are aligned on our goals and agency values
  • Driven; help enhance the offerings of the Creative team, through ensuring skill sharing, so individuals can develop
  • Eager to learn; be focused on developing themselves and the wider team to enhance our creative offerings
