CNC Turner - Weekend Night shifts (Friday to Sunday, 6 p.m. - 6 a.m.) _


JOB SUMMARY
Turning aerospace parts to tight tolerances on a variety of machines. Full 100% inspection of your own parts. Operating two twin spindle, twin turret CNC lathes with milling capabilities.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce parts to drawing requirements
  • Verify parts using measuring equipment
  • Safely operate and set delegated machines
  • Set machines to requirements of setting sheet
  • Ensure your work area is clean and tidy at all times

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Able to work to tight tolerances
  • Good understanding of Fanuc/Mazarol programming language

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Experience in setting and operating twin spindle, twin turret Nakamura Lathes or Mazaks beneficial
  • Good understanding of Fanuc language
  • Preferably apprentice trained
  • Any previous robot experience is advantageous

Salary:
£11.44-£16.97 per hour
