Technical Support Advisor


VPss are working alongside an industry leading fleet management company who is looking for Technical Support Advisor, someone to support their customers by resolving queries on their products and being the "goto" person with questions.

The ideal TechnicalSupport Advisor would have previous experience in a similar, whether than be 1st or 2nd line technical support.

This role is fully office based in Coleshill. You will be contracted 40 hours per week, shifts between 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday while training). There will be an expectation to cover Saturdays, on a rota basis once trained, if a Saturday is worked,they receive a £55 payment + a day in lieu)


Main Responsibilities:


  • Log all incidents on the ticketing system and follow through to successful completion
  • Comply with customer service level agreements
  • Liaise with other internal departments such a sales support, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve any customer related problems

Skills / Experience / Competency Required:

  • Previous experience of working in a technical support at both 1st and 2nd line level within a call centre environment
  • Experience of solving technical problems related to software and hardware products
  • Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal
  • Capable of working under pressure and prioritising workload
  • Good attention to detail making sure all issues are logged on company CRM and followed through
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office
  • Willing to undertake shift or on call work if required
