Description

The Best Connection Oldham are currently recruiting Assembly Operatives for our client in the Heywood area on a temporary basis for 8 weeks, with a view to a possible perm job role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well respected local employer.


Hours

  • 7am 3.30pm Monday Thursday
  • 7am 1pm Friday
  • 38 hours a week

Pay rate
- £11.74 per hour


Responsibilities of the Assembly Operative

  • Assembly of mechanical components using hand and power tools
  • Use of static Machinery
  • Reading / technical drawings and instructions
  • Manual handling
  • Quality Control

Requirements of the Assembly Operative

  • Attention to detail.
  • Recent checkable work history
  • Comfortable with manual handling
  • Working in a team to be able to ensure target output is met
  • To be able to work without constant supervision
  • Ideal to have previous mechanical assembly experience

Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
