Job Title Operation Assistant ( Student Accommodation )
Description
- Deal with bookings efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner to ensure avoid periods and cancellations are limited and student satisfaction is high.
- Work closely with the sales team across Gobritanya and Stuhomes to ensure void periods are kept to a minimum and aid the sales team to reaspond to enquiries in a timely fashion to ensure we do not lose sales.
- Manage the CRM to ensure customer details are accurate, GDPR compliant and work.
- Work with the finance team to ensure invoices and payments are processed efficiently and debt is collected in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all communications sent to residents and other partners is well written, error free, accurate and uses the branded templates.
- Work with the Operations Manager to investigate and deal with resident complaints in a timely and professional manner and escalate complicated complaints that will negatively impact on Stuhomes and GoBritanya negatively to a director.
- Work with the Operations Manager to provide accurate movein and moveout details to Accommodation Managers and Team Leads at the properties we manage.
- Be on call for emergency calls from students, parents, and partners, based on an agreed rota.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Make line manager and directors aware of additional beds available at properties we manage or at other PBSA that would be of interest to the company.
- Seek positive Trustpilot Reviews
- From time to time help the FOH team to cover reception.
- Contribute insights, updates about the properties in our portfolio, complaints, successes, and developments by competitors to the management team in the form of a monthly report.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of policies and procedures of the company.
- Be available to provide out of hours emergency support from timetotime.
- Assist in capturing feedback from residents and partners to help the company grow and improve our service.
- Assist in rebooking and referral campaigns.
- Assist the FOH team at Kirby Street in the turnaround periods.
Skills required
- Good level of general education.
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficient in using property operations systems.
- Demonstrable experience in handling customer queries and complaints.
- Demonstrable sales, marketing, and event delivery experience.
- Self and culturally aware and able to adapt relationship building, communications and negotiation skills to suit audience.
- Knowledge and understanding of UK Health and Safety policies.
- Understanding of Landlord/Tenant Legislation.
Working hours
You will work Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm. During peak times weekend work will be necessary.
