We have an opportunity for a Finance Support Lead Officer to join our Service Charge team

What you'll be doing


You will support the Finance Support Manager in maximising the recovery of service charges from residents ensuring that charges levied on residents of all tenures are in accordance with the legal framework within which service charges operate.

You will take the responsibility for leading a member of the finance team.


Assist with the generation of Service Charge budgets in SUN and InServ and resolve any issues identified during both budget and actuals reconciliations in InServ throughout the year, liaising closely with the Service Charge officers.

Investigating locations of gas and electricity meters to correctly recharge the supply costs.

Lead on reconciliation of and reporting on supplier accounts, journaling costs and liaising with external suppliers.

Lead ongoing projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of Inserv and the Utilities Database.

You'll be a good problem solver with attention to detail, you will have the ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and able to handle enquiries in a confident, professional and competent manner.
