Entrance Access Solutions Limited are a rapidly growing automatic and industrial door company based in East Kilbride who are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookkeeper to join our friendly team, working in a supportive environment.

This position has arisen following the continued growth and success of the business and will play a key role in taking the business forward in 2023 and beyond.


Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible of the day to day management of book-keeping services and standards.

Working 40 hours if full time or if part time then 20/25 hours per week over 3 or 5 days, with a degree of flexibility required - salary would then be pro rata.


The role requires experience in the following areas:

  • Raising customer invoices.
  • Accessing customer platforms to manage e invoicing.
  • Preparing daily sales reports.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and credit control.
  • Receiving, processing and verifying supplier invoices.
  • Investigating and resolving queries on supplier payments or customer invoices.
  • Managing employee fuel and travel expenses.
  • Data entry into Sage Online Accounting system.
  • Manage engineer overtime payments.
  • Working to weekly deadlines.
  • Contribute to monthend accounting processes.
  • Cover for colleagues within office team, as necessary.
Assist Finance Manager and company Directors with other duties as and when required.


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys regular contact with clients and is confident when dealing with accounts queries.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working as a bookkeeper/accounts assistant with experience of Sage or other cloud based accounting systems.


Skills and Experience:


  • AAT Certificate in Accounting (or similar), or previous accounts assistant experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working in an SME / reactive support business desirable.

Salary:
£22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
