Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their high performing finance team in Basingstoke on a permanent basis.

**The Role
**You will be supporting theFinancial Controller to ensure the integrity of financial accounts.

Your role will also involve you carrying out detailed analysis to provide a detailed picture of month end and how the company is performing.

You will need to be analytical, and detail orientated with excellent communication skills.
The role will require you to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting the Financial Controller to manage financial accounting operations.
  • Participate in month end and year end tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Processing general ledger transactions for a European business unit
  • Perform analytical review on monthly performance for European unit and present to financial controller.
  • Prepare VAT files for the European business unit.
  • Assist the credit control function in debtor reviews, reports, and action plans.
  • Ensure the quality of sales order and invoice processing meets company standards.
  • Review monthly OPEX and partner to the commercial team to communicate findings.
  • Assist in the yearly audits for the UK business unit.
  • Participate in the ongoing development of management accounting standards.
  • Challenge existing processes and make recommendation for efficiency and improvements.
  • Responds to enquiries on an adhoc basis.

  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to work closely with other teams within the business as required, but also the ability to be selfmotivated
  • Excellent Excel skills, confident analysing volumes of data
