It's an exciting time to join AXA Retail Insurance, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes.

As part of this, we're looking for a talented person to join our growing us for a 12-month fixed term contract / secondment.


As Customer Innovation & Automation Lead, you'll identify cutting edge innovative propositions and solutions to meet customer needs and drive differentiation across multiple AXA Retail insurance brands (including AXA Insurance, Swiftcover and Moja).

With the Customer at the heart of what we do, you'll develop and implement automation strategy across the brands to ensure the best customer experience and outcomes, along with reducing costs.

Lead development of telematics proposition and evolving the concept through to delivery.


At AXA we're adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and either our Weybridge, London and Ipswich office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

You'll spend approximately 2 days a week in the office, with the rest of your time working from home.


What you'll be doing:


  • Challenge the status quo to create products/propositions and automated solutions that deliver great customer experience and outcomes, to drive GWP growth and reduce operating expenses
  • Scope and define market leading products and propositions to drive growth for AXA Insurance's new retail brand
  • Moja from concept through to business case and delivery
  • Be insight led in development of the product and proposition roadmap and deliver clear focus in ensuring the products and propositions are customer centric
  • Lead, shape and deliver an innovation and automation strategy that meets target customer needs to increase differentiation, drive incremental GWP, profitability and expands the long organisation long term innovative capabilities
  • Developing investment business cases, engaging, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure buy in through to hand over to delivery
  • Drive the automation of processes, in particular backoffice Operations and Claims processes

Qualifications:


  • Extensive experience of launching, managing or developing telematics proposition including leveraging the data to drive commercial outcomes and great customer outcomes
  • Significant evidence of delivering commercially viable innovative, automated solutions to meet and support customer and business needs
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving capability ability to develop practical solutions with the big picture in mind
  • Highly commercially aware with the ability to understand and evaluate financial business cases/plans and modelling
  • Endtoend management of the proposition development lifecycle insight, ideation, concept development, business case development, build management, PIR and data analysis
  • Outstanding influencing, stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to uncover and share actionable insights. Develop robust business cases that stand up to scrutiny from senior stakeholders
  • Handson experience of taking significant digital & automated propositions to market
  • UX design; creation of Epics and User stories; prioritisation of resource
  • Knowledge of insurance products, in particular personal lines. Experience of working within a highly regulated environment
