Theatre Healthcare Assistant

Hove, Brighton

Band 3 / 4 equivalent
We are recruiting for a hospital in Hove in Brighton for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Theatre Team. The successful applicant will provide high quality care in a clinic setting to facilitate smooth and efficient outpatient clinics.

Working for a reputable service achieving outstanding rating with the CQC providing a variety of treatments to private and NHS patients.

As HCA in Theatres your duties and responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Theatre teams
Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and wellbeing to the appropriate person
Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

CRITERIA

Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a theatre setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
NVQ Level 2 / Level 3

Shifts are on a rota basis between Monday and Sunday so you need to be flexible to cover a variety earlies and lates.

Band 3 / 4 equivalent £18,000 - £20,000 per annum + many benefits
