About the company:
We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Technical Support Apprentice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the IT industry while working towards a nationally recognized qualification.
As a Technical Support Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to our customers. This will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing product training, and escalating complex problems to senior technicians.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of the IT industry, such as networking, operating systems, and cloud computing.
You will be supported by a team of experienced technicians who will provide you with the training and guidance you need to succeed.
Brief job description:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Support Apprentice with Alertacall, a Technology Development company based in Windermere.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of the IT industry, such as networking, operating systems, and cloud computing.
You will be supported by a team of experienced technicians who will provide you with the training and guidance you need to succeed.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Provide product training to customers.
- Escalate complex problems to senior technicians.
- Document technical issues and solutions.
- Stay up to date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs grades A*C/94 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Skills Required:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A keen interest in IT.
