**LEGAL COUNSEL - COMMERCIAL
READING (HYBRID WORKING - 2 DAYS IN THE OFFICE, 3 FROM HOME)
PERMANENT ROLE (CAN EITHER BE FULL TIME OR 4 DAYS PER WEEK)
£58,000 BASIC SALARY + BENEFITS**
Role Overview:Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment are presently representing one of the leading telecoms providers in the UK in search for an In House Legal Counsel to join their legal team.


Key Accountabilities:


  • You will be part of our client's dynamic and expanding team who are responsible for drafting, advising and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and managing legal risk across a wide range of legal matters.
  • Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, you will provide specialist advice and guidance required by stakeholders across the business.
  • You will be working closely with sales and bid teams, supplier management and commercial teams to ensure that contractual negotiations and agreements are aligned to the company's strategy and legal requirements.
  • You will also manage the Contracts Database, identifying and progressing contracts due for review and/or renewal.

About you:


  • A UK qualified solicitor between the NQ and 2PQE level would be desirable.
  • You will have proven experience of drafting commercial contracts, as well as negotiations across a variety of areas including sales, suppliers and procurement.
  • Equally, you'll be capable of tackling a busy workload, juggling the demands of a number of stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Experience of working within the Telecoms sector or similar fastmoving, technologybased industry is desirable but not essential.
