We currently offer over 600 clinically relevant medical devices to women's healthcare providers, including testing and treatment options.

This role is responsible for the efficient processing of Inventory transactions within the CooperSurgical Falmouth facility. One will be part a member of the Cooper Surgical Falmouth Inventory team.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of warehousing processes.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy
  • Microsoft Office based experience.
  • Experience of using ERP systems is preferable.
  • Preferable skills:
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and requirements.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to read complex documentation.
  • UK driving license required
  • Forklift Truck license required
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the primary focus and is maintained, reporting any near miss or accidents to the line manager and/or H&S Officer.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the Falmouth sites, for example, production planning and Production Engineering to ensure the smooth flow of production activities. Assisting with project activities as required, such as process improvements.
  • The role is accountable to the Inventory Team Leaders.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Daily management of goods in, stock transactions, cycle counting & dispatch activities, escalating any roadblocks or concerns.
  • Drive to improve processes, with the aim of reducing costs, improving efficiency, and reducing issues.
  • Conduct investigations into process issues.
  • Problem solving of issues identified.
  • Employ a strong 5S approach across the department.
  • Load and offload delivery/collection vehicles.
  • Organize, label and bookin incoming deliveries ready for processing into stock. Ensuring all receiving transactions are conducted accurately and any deviations from delivery paperwork /PO are addressed.
  • Assist in the transportation of stock between sites for incoming and outgoing goods plus the relocation of goods within stockrooms.
  • The picking of components for production works orders and delivery picked items to the manufacturing areas. Ensuring that the picking activity is performed accurately.
  • Ensure stock is used in accordance with FIFO principles.
  • Assist with regular internal stock taking, including recounts and adjustments. Ensuring stock accuracy is improved within stock locations.
  • Ensure all transactions are conducted in a timely manner, in accordance with business procedures.
  • Maintain goods in and dispatch paperwork records, storing all such records electronically.
  • Ensure all document scanning is completed in a timely manner.
  • Dispatch finished goods to the required destination.
  • Distribute tracking information for all shipments to the required personnel.
  • Ensure all measurement and monitoring equipment, within the Goodsin warehouse department, is calibrated and maintained, as appropriate.
  • Adapting to change within schedules and work activities as required.
  • Foster a positive, nondiscriminatory work environment by instilling an open, inclusive, blame free culture. Conducting oneself within the core values of CooperSurgical.
  • Assist with recruitment and appraisals.
  • Attend meetings has required.
  • Assisting with other activities as required, such as the improvement of existing products or processes.
  • Additional duties and assignments as directed by management.
  • Flexibility to work within other departments.
