OPAL (Older People's Action in the Locality) is a registered Charity in Leeds.
Our goal is to improve the lives of older people by offering support and access to activities, and so reducing loneliness and isolation.
Community Transport CoordinatorDuties:
- Coordinate and schedule transportation services for goods and materials
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure they are on schedule
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and documentation
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize transportation processes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in transportation coordination or logistics preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using transportation management systems and software
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Salary:
£25,979.00-£28,770.00 per year
