Community Transport Coordinator


Duties:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation services for goods and materials
• Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure they are on schedule
• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and documentation
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize transportation processes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in transportation coordination or logistics preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using transportation management systems and software
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Types:

Salary:
£25,979.00-£28,770.00 per year
