Working as a Product Associate at Wintermute
Just like any exciting product role, this is an everything role. You will be responsible for driving Wintermute products growth by both devising the strategy and making it happen.

You will have the big picture in mind while making sure everything is in place by delivering the existing roadmap.

You will utilise your project management, creativity and technical skills. You'll work closely with our very talented designers, engineers and traders.

You will enhance existing products and build new ones, regularly speak to the users, kick off support mechanisms and marketing practices.

You will keep learning about the dynamic space that crypto is, bursting with ideas without losing focus. In this role, you will be working closely with all members of the Product Team at Wintermute.


What you will work on

Product Strategy & Delivery:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales, customer support).
  • Effectively convey requirements and product vision across cross functional teams (technical and nontechnical teams).
  • Develop and track meaningful success metrics, leveraging data to drive informed decisions.
  • Design and evaluate experiments for new features and launch campaigns
  • Identify and engage valuable vendors and partners to accelerate product growth.
  • Be the ultimate advocate for your product, deeply understanding both user needs and technical capabilities.

Market & User Insights:


  • Extract actionable insights from diverse data sources (trading, login, marketing etc) to inform product directionMaintain effective communication with users to improve user understanding and inform roadmap priorities
  • Proactively research the market and competitive landscape that informs the roadmap
  • Be the first point of contact for users if they have any technical, operational or usability issues

Technical Product Management:


  • Understand user requirements and system intricacies, troubleshooting issues and guiding development priorities
  • Process optimization: Enhance product support processes, including data collection, automation, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the development team to create clear and userfriendly product documentation.

Go To Market:


  • Develop and execute product launch plans, including marketing and communication strategies in collaboration with marketing, strategy & operations and business development teams
  • Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • But most importantly, all employees can shape and develop their roles. There's no limit set by the company.

Hard Skills requirements:


  • BSc degree or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Hard working and willing to go above and beyond
  • Experience building products from scratch
  • Loves working both with technology and with people
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Python)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in financial technology and / or blockchain technology sectors
  • Some experience with institutional finance across asset classes, e.g. Crypto, Equities, ETFs
