Job Purpose:


You would be reporting to the Chief Engineer of Software Validation and Verification and will be tasked with conducting validation and verification of production software in line with the global organisation process.

You will be part of a team responsible for Processor, Software and Hardware in the Loop testing (PiL, SiL, HiL) to ensure that software is robustly tested and follows suitable process through to sign-off for production.

The Validation and Verification team will work closely within Dana Lindley as well as Dana engineering sites globally.


The Role:


  • Immediate opportunity to take on project delivery responsibility on Global programmes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Proven record of testing derived from formal requirements from design to production
  • Experience in validation / verification / test programs for embedded systems to ensure designs are fit for purpose; including Functional Safety aspects
  • Core experience of algorithm design & implementation in modelbased environment
  • SiL/HiL/Test rig based development experience to production level
  • Vehicle and controller communication networks; e.g. CAN, CAN-FD, J1939, XCP
  • Commitment to the highest standards of ethical behaviour in self and others; commitment to inclusion, diversity and equity

Education and Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
