Talent Acquisition Specialist


The Talent Acquisition Specialist willmanage and provide daily recruitment support to the Company and will provide support to hiring managers at all levels.

This opportunity will be a fast-paced, generalist role whereby you will manage and overseeing the full talent management cycle for various roles simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:


Duties:


  • Provide generalist talent management support across all stages of the recruitment and onboarding cycle to the People function.
  • Produce and review job adverts and descriptions and post to job boards.
  • Conduct initial pre-screen assessments and making recommendations for second stage interviews.
  • Liaise with internal departments to understand recruitment needs. Reviewing skills matrices to determine and predict upcoming recruitment needs.
  • Organise recruitment days / events, checking internal schedules, contacting and appointing hiring managers to facilitate, producing documentation to support the event.
  • Draft and update of interview documents from pre-screen through to formal interview as well as technical assessments.
  • Pro-actively identify ways to encourage direct / organic recruitment pipeline.
  • Manage the facilitation of work experience, short-term internships and placement years.
  • Updating recruitment processes and policies, pro-actively identifying improvements.
  • Developing hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends, as well as keeping informed of advancements and conducting competitor analysis in the field.
  • Facilitate the hosting of skills development workshops and initiatives to improve the talent pipeline.
  • Booking careers / networking events and strengthening partnerships with local schools, colleges and universities.
  • Utilise and work closely with marketing to attract new talent.
  • Managing several open roles simultaneously - ensuring effective management
  • Updating forecasted open roles.
  • Assist the People department with talent development initiatives, pipeline plans and projects.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics to ensure increase in direct applicants. Report on conversion rates and platforms being most utilised.
  • Ensure platforms are kept up to date and relevant new starter details are added to relevant systems.
  • Maintain the careers mailbox and ensure compliance with data protection / GDPR.
  • Support with management of resourcing activities and involvement with both future resource planning, recruitment pipeline and daily resource planning activities.

Person specification:


  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/ Outlook/ PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently using own initiative.
  • Approachable, helpful and friendly manner; good allround teamplayer.
  • Focused on delivering to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to communicate at all levels internally and externally.
  • Flexible, adaptable, ability to multitask and prioritise own workload.
  • Experience of working in an effective and efficient manner.
  • A 'selfstarter' who does not require close supervision.

Requirements:


  • Relevant degree classification, preferably in Human Resources/ Business Management.
  • 2 years' experience working within a similar position within the HR function.
  • Proficient in using recruitment platforms and tracking systems.
  • Ability to liaise with internal departments and develop hiring strategies independently.
  • Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants.

Desirable:


  • HR certification (CIPD).
  • Experience working within an SME/ in the Technology Industry

Salary:
£30,000.00-£39,999.00 per year
