An exciting opportunity has arisen a Project Support Officer to join Swansea Bay's Transformation team.

The successful applicant will support the delivery of the Health Board's ambitious Transformation Programme.

The successful applicant will further develop their skills, experience, and knowledge, gaining experience in a wide range of healthcare settings, influencing and delivering real change for the benefit of patients in Wales.


Working within the Health Board's Transformation Portfolio Office with project management professionals of all levels, this is an ideal role for someone who wants to lend their existing skills and abilities to a role within a busy programme management office and looking to start a career in project management.

To provide a comprehensive professional and confidential administrative support in the delivery of a number of projects.


The post holder will be responsible for managing their own workload and will be given delegated responsibility for managing certain aspects of projects.

This will include overseeing delegated activities and ensuring that timescales are being met.

To develop and maintain information systems that assist in the delivery of projects ensuring that progress is accurately captured.


To act as the main channel of communication between the Project Lead, colleagues within the service, Senior Colleagues in the Health Board, other NHS Organisations, Welsh Government and other external partners.

The post-holder will exercise judgement and discretion in the day-to-day handling, monitoring and filtering of appointments and enquires.

To assist in the organisation and project planning of delegated projects.

To provide a robust administrative service for the Project Lead.

To prioritise duties, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

To lead on delegated aspects of projects as agreed with the Project Lead.

To effectively plan and manage delegated aspects of the project.
